Here are two phrasal verbs:

  • 1. To feel up to something.
  • I don't feel up to eating out.
  • This means that I feel tired / a bit sick / lazy and that eating out (getting dressed, going out etc.) is too much activity for me.
  • Another example? Do you feel up to going for a walk? (Do you have the energy to go out for a walk?)
  • 2. Eat out? Eat in a restaurant.
  • e.g. I like eating out at the weekends.
